State of the Plan
President Sarah Mangelsdorf delivers her inaugural report on Boundless Possibility, offering highlights from the strategic plan’s first year.
In March, a Boundless Possibility survey to gauge the University of Rochester community’s understanding and impressions of the strategic plan. One of the questions sought details on why a respondent had a positive, negative, or neutral opinion of the strategic plan. For the many respondents who didn’t have strong feelings one way or another, the reason was the plan was effectively a stranger. Responses expressed sentiments that amounted to “I don’t know enough” and “I need more information.”
There is perhaps no better evidence that you have been heard than the existence of this blog—in which we’ll regularly cover the finer points of the plan. If you’re not interested in getting into the weeds, we’ve also reworked this site so it’s easier for you to see plan progress at a glance. And for those of you who love a highlight reel, we have President Sarah Mangelsdorf’s inaugural State of the Plan address.
